Welcome to Holbrook Campground
May the heritage of the past strengthen our future
It all began in 1839 when Jessie C. Holbrook received 40 acres of land for shoeing a horse. Mr. Holbrook sold the land for $20 to local Methodists for the purpose of having campmeeting. This custom continues today.

We are standing on holy ground
The current historic arbor was built in 1890 using some of the materials from the earlier structures. Now 74 tents (cabins) surround the arbor as descendants of those first pioneers as well as new residents experience the presence of God on this holy ground.
As in the past, great emphasis is placed on the spiritual life of Holbrook. Campmeeting is a time for spiritual renewal for Christians and salvation for sinners.
Bring your Bible - study, pray, and worship!
